A woman killed every 10 minutes, but a woman goes missing every five and yes it’s a serious serious problem and everyone is ignoring it including women that’s what makes me so disgusted. Is that as a 61 year old woman I’ve been aware of this problem since I was a teenager And I don’t understand why we’re still treated this way like we don’t matter we’re still being killed by our husband‘s friends brothers family member strangers This is an issue way deeper than mothers not raising respectful sons. It goes way deeper than that. I can see how those women that are in your group talking. They’re all affected by religion first and then being a woman in America women are just women and they’re not affected by the religion. They’re still being murdered all the time. I’m happy you’re talking about this.
You're doing a huge mistake by comparing the numbers of victim women in America or the modern west to victim women elsewhere, oppressed by religion or culture. In one culture you're talking about a small percent of deranged men for populations of hundreds of millions of people, that are going against morality and the law. in the other, society itself is the oppressor, the women don't have the majority by their side and their lives are truly at risk. Each of these groups of women deserves justice, but putting the same blame on all men regardless of what society they belong to, is morally wrong!
@Debbiedie I would still separate the murdered from the missing. Yes, they're both gender-based. But if I'm understanding the disappearances, they are kidnappings for money, and the women are sold as sex slaves. The motive is money. Whereas gender-based murder doesn't usually have a financial basis. The disrespect inherent in both actions shows we are in a patriarchal society, reinforced by a patriarchal religion. Even though the religion has no legal force, as in Afghanistan and Iran, it still shapes beliefs, as in "Wives, be obedient to your husbands." (St. Paul)
It’s impossible to sustain a healthy functioning world while also allowing disrespect and abuse of women to not only continue but even to be normalized in parts of our societies. Also, women as healthy mothers must be nurtured and supported by communities. There are no healthy, mature men without healthy mothers. This is core to all societies, past, present, and future.
"Violence is not only happening against women it's happening to every life that is weaker than us" --- Sadhguru Actually it's true we are still on survival of the fittest mode. We want to exploit everything that is weaker than us whether it's women, man, animal, birds, insects etc..

Also, it is very very rare for females (of any mammal species, not just humans) to perpetrate violence against the weak. It is the Testosterone fueled mind typically that wants to "Dominate and conquer".

If the religion is not patriarchal, violence against women is far less. And Western society is rooted in Christianity. Many Asian nations are rooted in Islam, and the government is often directly connected, but all are patriarchal. When society tells men that they should be in charge, they do what they want to maintain control, because they can.
@whatgoesaroundcomesaround920 You clearly do not really understand the "True Horror" that Christianity in it's original form was. For Example, according to Christianity, Eve is the root cause of all suffering in this world. She made the poor little Adam go on the forbidden path. (A philosophical root shared by Islam.) Mary was the one good woman in all of the world (Arabia was apparently the whole world) who was eligible to bear "God's son" since she was a rare, if not the only virgin teenager. Western society is somewhat better for women today because it went through radical reforms and revolutions and stopped taking Religion too seriously, less literally. more importantly, western societies managed to separate Governance from religion.

To people saying men are killed more often. That's true but when it comes to intergender homicides, men murder women at 3 times the rate women murder men.
In many indigenous communities in parts of the world, where English was imposed colonially, indigenous folk will speak of many members of their relatively close-knit nations with much more kinship than in the English-speaking colonial melt of European, conflicted cultural perspectives. Words like brother, sister, cousin, or uncle might cross between the more strict boundaries of those words in English as typical for, say, white ol' me, brought up white in the Pacific Northwest in a post-1871 colony. So, in the 1990s, I heard white kids actively slurring stereotypes about indigenous people calling each other cousins, because of the gross factor, "why would you want to marry one of your cousin?" This is an example, clear as day, of gendered racism. On the other hand, it should be declared in 2024 that popping open most random English pornography websites, the main page shows an unending list of "stepdaughter" and "stepsister" examples. This overall trend, since colonization is always brutal in any and every location, is that ignorance is supreme toward violence by strict enforcement.
The "structures" are for violence in many ways. The way resources are extracted for no reason except to horde wealth and spread more power and extraction, the mode that calls itself "civilization" seems totally bonked, broken, buggy. It needs to be turned off. "Toxic" is an understatement.

If you want to have the biggest impact on this issue then you can not talk about it on a global scale and you have to be way more exact with your data. Every country is very different culturally and will have different levels of issues and reasons for them and it can't be that bland fact of "a woman is killed every 10 mins", for what reason are they killed and in what scenario, this matters a ton. Obviously a woman getting killed by a abusive partner should be treated as a far different issue then a woman killed in a random rocket strike in Ukraine and we need to compare this to how often it happens to men to see the actual statistical difference we are trying to solve. At the same time, you need to do this without making men the enemy and have a thing for them to do that they can choose to be a part of. You also need to do this separate from every other issue, you can not afford to waste time and spark disagreements by trying to connect this to a wage gap or etc.
The statistic reflects ONLY women deliberately killed as individuals, not as part of a rocket attack or bombing or train wreck or whatever. Individuals chosen for murder by their killers. No red herrings here, please. It's hard enough to grapple with the reality without false attacks on the data.
Stats for you: In the US in 2021, more than 50% of all murdered women were killed by their intimate partner (38%) or other family member (15%). In contrast, only 6% of murdered men were killed by an intimate partner, and another 10% by other family members. 53% vs 16%. This is clearly a gender related problem.
@@whatgoesaroundcomesaround920 Thats still a very bland thing though. I am glad it doesn't include stuff like wars but its likely to involve murder for the sake of stealing and etc. Unless its just women killed by men for the fact that they are women then we are not being specific enough to address things in the most effective manner. If the most deaths to women are them being targeted by men they do not know, that target them because they are viewed as a easier target then a men then that has a much different approach to solving it, then if the most deaths happen within a abusive relationship. We need a firm understanding of the problems we are solving is all I am saying
@optimisticdevi21.s It is easy to state this, if you aren't forced by your government to participate in a war. In the Ukraine over 1 Million male humans have been killed in about 2 years and those don't have any right to refuse their participation. Funny enough women are allowed to participate in politics but don't have to fulfill the same standard as men, when it comes to defending their country.
Hamas started the war with Israel and continues to hold hostages so the war continues. It can end the moment Hamas stops holding innocent hostages and surrenders. Blame Hamas. They leave that part out, themselves devaluing male victims while at the very same time (correctly) criticizing systems and cultures that devalue female victims! More men are killed per minute than women. The rate of violence against men and boys is *higher* than against women and girls. It’s ignored because cultures widely accept violence against men and boys. Yet a victim is no less a victim because of their gender. I wish the advocates against violence against women understood that.

Stats for you:
In the US in 2021, more than 50% of all murdered women were killed by their intimate partner (38%) or other family member (15%).
How about man in the war:). All time history counted
@@abduljabbarm880 don't start war simple
@optimisticdevi21.s
It is easy to state this, if you aren't forced by your government to participate in a war.
In the Ukraine over 1 Million male humans have been killed in about 2 years and those don't have any right to refuse their participation.
Funny enough women are allowed to participate in politics but don't have to fulfill the same standard as men, when it comes to defending their country.
Why 10 men killd every 1 second ?
Good
By their wives? By their girlfriends? By their mothers?
💙🤍💙 thanks for the video
European women, do you see women and little girls from Gaza?
Tf has Gaza to do with anything?
Hamas started the war with Israel and continues to hold hostages so the war continues. It can end the moment Hamas stops holding innocent hostages and surrenders. Blame Hamas. You don't get to vote for Hamas, support the war with Israel, and then claim to be the victim. Look up FAFO. Stop F-ing Around and there won't be any Finding Out.
@NicolasHaufe aren't there women in Gaza important?
Or Somalia or Iran or Afghanistan or literally anywhere with Mohammedan doctrine rule. Or even India, women should never travel there alone.
What about man who are suffering because of the woman
Which women are in charge of what?
Are men being tortured, raped and murdered by women?
Susan Smith killed her children by letting them drown in her car, she is still serving time
she did extreme violence to her two sons back then
so it's not just dudes that do this to women
she had the power to kill them
How many men are killed every 10 minutes?
They leave that part out, themselves devaluing male victims while at the very same time (correctly) criticizing systems and cultures that devalue female victims!
More men are killed per minute than women. The rate of violence against men and boys is *higher* than against women and girls. It’s ignored because cultures widely accept violence against men and boys. Yet a victim is no less a victim because of their gender. I wish the advocates against violence against women understood that.
By women? 0.0000000000something
@ is a victim any more or less of a victim depending on who they’re killed by?
Related, is a victim of murder any more or less of a victim depending on their gender?
@@Hulksmashhulkregret men are not victims of their wives and yes it matters because men are ALSO suffering from toxic masculinity, but instead of doing something about that , they get triggered
@@StefanTaf men and women are absolutely victims of their wives, that’s awful you’d invalidate domestic violence victims! Look it up, the highest rate of domestic violence in couples is between lesbians, and the lowest is between two gay dudes. That’s an actual statistic. Further, in domestic violence arrests where the man us arrested, in the data of 1000s of cases, roughly 2/3 of the time the woman instigated the violence in the incident. *All* abusers need to be held accountable, regardless of their gender.
More importantly , people are the same in their experiences or victimization regardless of their race or gender or any other identity, and all victims are of equal value regardless of their identify group.
Fair, so I would like to see women right supporters go to Muslim countries to protest and not in counties which already supported a lot.
Western men kills their GFs and wives and other women a lot
This isn't just a problem in the Muslim world.
Besides the point: Violence against normal: Ignored by the woke?
What do you mean "normal"?
@@filipe5722 it means normal
@@williamlai29 It means you are clueless. Got it.
@@filipe5722 No problem, thank you and come again.
I am not gonna watch the whole clip. Instead I'd like to ask how many mEn die every minute, not every 10 minutes?
By their wives? Very very little
In Australia 1 every 91 days.
Forgot to mention the figure for men
Nope, didn't forget, its not the issue in this conversation. Can you not even give women their own airtime? Good grief.
And how often does that happen to men? “Who cares?”
Sacrifice
You all should be proud
